How Volunteers Drive Our Mission

As an IRS 501c(3) non profit organization we rely on the time, talent and generosity of volunteers to continue our work that was started so long ago. We are grateful for the amazing gift of time our volunteers give to us. The students, empty-nesters, those in transition and people who love our mission work from our headquarters in New York City, across the United States and across the globe. We could not accomplish a fraction of what we do with out the support and collective resources of our volunteers.

Volunteers in our local office drive our work on a macro level; we think locally but act globally. Those in the New York City metro area touch upon the work that impacts women across the world.

How Volunteers Help Meet Our National Humanitarian Goals

Volunteers across the United States are the oil that fuels our organization. We need coverage in all areas of the county to ensure women are treated fairly in the workplace and within their own homes and our help comes from many races, backgrounds and religions from all corners of the country. Our national crew of volunteers gives a voice to every woman in this country.
